Dear Friend

Today I have a card for The Shabby Tea Room Challenge # 20

They want us to create a card or project using ONE ribbon, TWO buttons and THREE punches or dies!
So...here is my take on it! I used PTI cardstock in the colors of Vintage Cream,Sweet Blush, and True Black. All of the patterned paper is from an old emphera package that I had by Distinct Marketing Design,Inc. The dies that I  used are Nestabilities Labels Four, PTI's Book Mark Topper, and Fillable Frames #4.Stamps are PTI Fancy Flourishes and the sentiment is from Delightful Dahlia. The bling is Zva.The buttons are from WalMart and the ribbon and tag are from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

This year I have been visited by some beautiful little creatures in my garden! I cought this butterfly yesterday when I went out to water flowers. The clear winged hummingbird moth I captured a couple of weeks ago. This was only like the second time that I had ever seen one of these. They are a little bigger than a bumble bee.

July Blog Hop

Here is my card for PTI's July bloghop, we were to use office supplies. The base of my card is PTI Simply Chartreuse, stamped on the bottom with PTI's A little Argyle. On top of the Stamped argyle I put 7 gypsies reinforcements. On top of the card is a page from my MM spiral journaling book. I then made flowers out of Tim Holtz mini paper clips.Stamped a butterfly using Flutterby Friend and colored it with copics and added a little stickles. Office folder is from my stash, I stapled on a ticket from PTI's Just the ticket.Tied a piece of PTI's Bakers twine on the bottom and there you have it!

Card Style Shabby Chic and Vintage Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

With all of the talk this week on style, it got me thinking of my own. I think that I have always loved vintage, heck at one point in my life I owned a victorian gift shop!
I feel my go to card style is classy and elegant with a twist of vintage. I do dabble in other styles, but the classy vintage cards always go together for me faster and easier.
So today I have for you a card that I didn't even set out to make, but loved how it turned out! I bought this new beautiful ribbon with sequences on it and intended to make a card with it,as you can see in the photos above, the ribbon didn't end up on my card(well maybe another day)!
This card started with PTI Ocean Tides, you can't really tell that well in the photo, but I used PTI's Beautiful Blooms impression plate.I also used PTI Fancy Flourishes on the card base. The paper under the Tattered Angels frame is PTI vintage cream hit with a little of the distress ink and stamped with PTI's Text Style II.The birthday sentiment is from PTI's Delightful Dahlia. The patterened paper is graphic 45 daydreams. The ribbon is May Art and started out white and I used Tim Holtz Distress ink in three colors to achieve this color. The flowers are prima and also started out white. I highlighted the frame with a touches of silver stickles and a few prima crystals. The flourishes are Prima say it in Pearls. The nail heads are from my stash. The final touch on this card wash a few sprays of silver glimmer mist.
Hope you enjoyed stopping by today!
