Hello Friend

This week Heather challenged us to bring out the glitter. I love glitter, bling,(diamonds) anything that sparkles! Last week I received my first order(thanks Dana) from Kitchen Sink stamps, they are a multi step stamp company. I couldn't wait to get my new PTI seed packet stamps, I knew that these pansies would be beautiful in that packet. These glittered butterflies are also from Kitchen Sink Stamps.I love Heather's new Postmark background set, I know that i'll have a hard time putting it down!

Of coarse, by the time I was ready to take pictures  it was almost dark out, so the colors are a little off.
The new PTI Winter Wisteria is a beautiful lavendar, not as blue as in the pictures.

Below is a picture of the card with the envelope that I made to go with it.

Papertrey ink Make It Monday

This week Betsy has challenged us to layer things up for the Make It Monday challenge. well this is right down my alley, since  most of my cards are layered. I picked out a piece of patterned paper and designed my card around that.Unfortunately, most of my PP is covered,I guess I layered a bit to much! ;)

I also made an envelope to match, you can actually see my Patterned paper.

This is the second card that I have made this week using a piece of PTI's Quatrefoil cover plate, I think i'll leave it on my desk for a while so I don't forget about it!

Rosie Posie

I know, two blog post in one day, that is just not like me! ;)
I used PTI's Rosie Posie and Turning a New Leaf to create my background for this card. The die cut flowers were cut out of card stock and vellum, I then stamped and layered them. I love the colors of this card and very happy with the way it turned out!

Happy Birthday to you!

I found this blog through Pinterest and decided to join in on their fun.

With many summer birthdays coming my way, I thought that I would begin to make some of the cards that I will need. When I started this card, it was going to have a darker reddish paptterned paper that I was going to base my card around... you can see that didn't happen! :) I think that I have used pieces and bits from seven different PTI sets on this card. The butterfly is cut out of a beautiful piece of floral vellum from K& Company that I have had in my stash for years.
