Hello Friend

It has been along time since I joined in on the fun of Papertrey Ink's MIM challenge. I love how these challenges make us think outside of the box!

I did goof up on this card, but it was the last flower that I stamped and I wasn't about to start over!
I guess I shouldn't watch TV and stamp @ the same time!!

This was the first time that I have used PTI's new inks, and I must say that I LOVE them!

All 5 stamp sets used in making this card are PTI
1. Day Dreamer
2. Fancy Flourishes
3. Polka Dot Basics
4. Label Basics
5.Think Big Favorites

Adding a few more pictures off my craft room

Some of you may remember last February when I made my first ever (FUN) trip to Ikea to redo my craft room. Here is the link http://baseret.blogspot.com/2011/02/craft-room-make-over.html

Well for Christmas, my DH and DS took the 2 hour drive to Ikea to surprise me with my wish list to  complete my room. So, I thought I would show you my completed (I may stack another of the wide Alex drawer units on top of the one I have ;) )room.

This Benno DVD unit is new... I think i'm going to love this!

These magnetic knife holders are now holding some of my larger dies.

Here is a wide view of the new alex units on either side of the my expedit.

The Alex unit below is where i'm thinking about stacking another alex unit on top.

For some reason during my first trip to Ikea, I only bought two pink chairs, now I have three! :)

Christmas Gift Card Holders

Today I played with the new PTI Gift Card Greetings die...Oh what fun!!
First off I have this adorable snowman (Shape Up Snowman) card holder, this just may be my favorite one of all!
The clear snowfalke behind him is cut with one of  PTI's Damask Snowflake dies...I can't stop using those things!!

The picture below is taken on an angel, I think you get a little better look at the snowflake. The glitter on the edges is  Stickles- Star Dust.
The card holder below was the first one that I made, at the time I thought that I liked it, but as I kept making them this became my least favorite.
Below is another favorite of mine! How can you go wrong, houndstooth and glitter!!
Here is a look at the inside of the holder above.
This one is kind of a spin off of the gift tags that I posted last week, with the clear cardstock making a little shaker box.
I love me some Aqua mist and silver at Christmas time.

Thanks for stopping by today...and get those gift card holders made!! They are alot of fun!

Christmas Tags

The October PTI release finally put in in the mood to create for Christmas(I hope the bug stays with me)!
I love the demask snowflakes, I have a feeling most of my gift tags will be created using these dies!
The little images from In The Meadow are perfect for the center of the one demask snowflake die. I just used my limited layers 1.75" circle to cut the center out.
I also punched  a clear piece of cardstock a little larger than the hole to create a window.
On the tag below, I used foam tape all the way around the opening to make a shaker box with glitter as my snow.
My ribbon is seam binding that I ran my new PTI Pure Poppy ink pad over, then I just got my hand a little wet and scrunched it up and let it dry.
This is my first project using Aqua Mist ink...Love it!!
The snowflake die (inside snowflake) is from last years Peace Be Still set, stamped with the medium flake from Snowflake Serenade.
Thanks for stopping by today, hope that I  inspired you to make a few tags of your own!!
