I finally made my first trip to Ikea a couple of weeks ago!! The first day after our little trip (5 hours round trip)our house looked like a cardboard jungle!! It was such a mess!!lol
This is what my main desk used to look like.
This is my new main desk area. Lots of room to make a mess now! :)
I love this big L shaped desk! It is from the Vika Amon collection. Why I only bought 2 pink chairs, I have no idea, gives me a reason for another trip I guess!
Next is my expidet, I thought that I bought all black boxes to put in it, but guess what, NOT! How can I put them in the cart, then out of the cart to get checked out, back in the cart, then into the truck, and not notice that their was a black and white striped band of paper wrapped around the bottom.AHHH! The funny thing is , as soon as I opened the door of the truck to get them out, I knew that I bought the wrong ones. Sooo... what to do? Make another 5 hour trip to get the right ones,( All of the stripes were just to much for my eyes)or just change the ones that I have. As you can see below, I decided to get myself a jar of modge podge and cover my boxes. I like how they turned out! I will probably buy a few solid black boxes on my next trip, and replace a few of the paper covered ones.
With the attached table, I now have a designated spot for my Bigshot and sewing machine.
These rods that hold my punches are hidden behind the door, when open. I also love these bygel rods and these cute little pink containers. Puts all of my go to tools at my finger tips!
Above this window I think that I'll put some sort of quote, I just haven't decided what yet.
The area between the rods that hold my alcohol inks and stickles, and the expedit will hold a set of alex drawers.
These book shelves I already had in my room, they are from Target. I still need to tiddy these up abit. The stacked paper holders that you see on the other wall will go, and be replaced with another set of Alex drawers from Ikea.

ReplyDeleteWonderful. I'm wondering what that is that your copics are in?
ReplyDeleteCindy, they are called Quickutz Magpie storage system. They are hard to find, I bought mine on ebay about a year ago. I think I paid like $12.00 for each of them, there is two on my desk. I think shipping cost as much as the magpies, but to me it was worth it!
