Summer Birthdays

What does it take to get me back into my studio...95* weather!! Too hot to be outside(for me), which is a good thing for me because I have 4 birthdays coming up in the next week that I need to make cards for.
I finally put some ink on PTI's Garden Variety stamp set for this card that I made. WOW! It's hard to get your mojo back after not creating for awhile!lol  I love to garden, (hence my absence from blogland)and so does the recipient of this card, so I think she will like it. I just love this little picket fence!!

CASE grunge card

A couple weeks ago Jessica Witty made this card with the new Grunge Me set from PTI, as soon as I saw it, I knew that I wanted to try this technique. It is super easy to do, and so much fun! Give it a try!
This card is for my friends 20 year old sons birthday, and I think it is a great look for this occasion.

Pretty Spring Thanks

I love these papers from Crate Paper and My Minds Eyes, they just make me happy!This beautiful flower I bought on Etsy from frogfeathers, she has a beautiful shop.I bought several colors so I'll probably be using them on about every card I make for a while!lol Oh, and this is my first purchase of PTI twill, OMG what have I been missing! That pretty little stick pin, I made it with some pretty sparkling beads I found on clearance at Pat Catan's.

PTI March Blog Hop

For the March blog hop PTI is  challenging us to use embroidery floss in a fun and inventive way on

our project. Not that this is so inventive, but I did have allot of fun making this card!I also was able to play with both of my Flower Fusion sets, which I love.These little $5.00 sets pack allot of bang for the buck!!

This card has so much going on, I even pulled out the old Jolee's butterfly!lol

Notice the sun at the top of my card? That is a stamp from Delightful Doilies,I think it makes a pretty nice sun!

Make It Monday

This week's Make It Monday Video is a nod to all the color that will soon be brightening up our surroundings. Jennifer Ellefson, Nichole's Gal Friday and PTI's Customer Service Liason, is busting out the Copics in a fresh way. We all know they look great on neutral colored cardstock (think white, cream, and kraft), but they can add shading and depth to colored cardstocks with almost no effort.

Actually, the card that I made for last weeks Make It Monday would work for this week! But, I decided to make a new one for this week.So,here it is.... 

As you can see, I received my PTI Tiny Tags, and they are adorable.Loving the Edgers #2 die too!
